Conde Nast Traveler magazine has nominated Volcanoes Safaris Kyambura Gorge Lodge as a Finalist in its prestigious World Saver awards!

The World Savers Awards have run since 2007 and recognise travel organisations from all over the world that are 'powerful forces of positive change within their industries'. They have a number of criteria upon which entries are judged including: contributing positively to local communities, active in environmental issues and protecting wildlife among others.

Volcanoes has been nominated in the 'Protecting Natural Resources and Wildlife' category. We are proud to be able to make positive change in these categories through the projects set up by the Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust (VSPT). The VSPT works in local communities in the areas around our lodges, helping to link communities to conservation, improve rural livelihoods and opportunities, support the conservation of wildlife and ecosystems, and enhance rural development through responsible ecotourism.
