The school is situated near Volcanoes Virunga Lodge and has over 800 children and 12 dedicated and hard working teachers. Over the last 4 years the VSPT has spent a total of US$2806 to build the school a water tank, repair the roof and buy school uniforms and materials.

Volcanoes Safaris donates US$100 from the price of every full safari purchased to the VSPT to instigate and support projects such as this one which focus on the communities around Volcanoes lodges and conservation of vulnerable habitats and endangered species.

The VSPT continues to help fund structural improvements to the school building. VSPT also assists Volcanoes Safaris clients in sponsoring individual pupils.
