Volcanoes takes to the sky this summer! Find out about the new flying safaris and last minute gorilla permits availability!

Volcanoes Safaris is happy to announce that new chartered flights around Uganda will open this June. These flights will drastically cut the travel time of guests travelling between Kampala and our lodges in Uganda and greatly improve the experience as well. Although driving through the African plains in a jeep is mesmerising and absorbing, soaring above it in a plane can be more thrilling

Volcanoes is excited about adding this new feature to a total of seven itineraries and look forward to taking clients on a tour of the Uganda skies from June onwards. With the new flying safaris set to begin oepration in June, Volcanoes are also excited to announce that although permits are selling out fast across both Rwanda and Uganda, a large number have been secured for Uganda. Although the summer months in Rwanda have almost sold out, you can enjoy gorilla trekking a short distance away in the newly renovated Bwindi lodge in Buhoma. There are currently permits available on the following dates:

June 11th, 18th, 22nd and 29th
July 13th, 20th, 23rd and 27th
August 13th, 17th, 24th and 27th
September 3rd and 24th
