To book a safari with Volcanoes please follow the following steps:
- Double check the exact itinerary, permits, accommodation, meals, services and prices being quoted.
- Confirm in writing you wish to proceed.
- Pay the email invoice which is sent and a 20% deposit including the cost of gorilla permits immediately. This can be done through bank transfer or by credit card through Paypal on the internet. The balance has to be paid 45 days before departure. Gorilla permits must be paid immediately when booked otherwise we cannot purchase them and cannot be held responsible if they are no longer available.
- Fill in the booking form, providing full names, passport number, nationality and date of birth. Provide next of kin’s telephone and email contacts; and your blood group for evacuation cover.
- Read the Travel Notes (link). Make arrangements for visas, health, inoculations, equipment and personal money.
- Obtain the full insurance cover required and show the cover note to the company on email. It is a condition of booking that all clients must have, and must demonstrate to the company prior to their departure, adequate insurance for the duration of the tour.
- Please read the Terms and Conditions (link) carefully as they set out our respective obligations and form the basis of your contract with us. At the time of booking acceptance of the Terms and Conditions will need to be confirmed.

FLIGHTS
- Volcanoes Safaris does not organise or sell international flights. We have partnered with AirTreks, based in San Francisco, the leader in international flight planning, to assist our clients with arranging flights to Entebbe in Uganda or Kigali in Rwanda. Airtreks' travel consultants work with each traveller to find the best choice of airlines, routes, and fares. - From Europe the easiest way to get to Entebbe (for Kampala in Uganda) directly from London is with British Airways. Kenya Airways flies to Entebbe or Kigali from London via Nairobi. SN Brussels flies to Entebbe, Kigali or Nairobi from Brussels. Ethiopian Airlines flies from London to Entebbe and Kigali via Addis Ababa. KLM flies to Nairobi from Amsterdam.
- From the USA, clients can fly to London, Brussels or Amsterdam and then get connecting flights to Entebbe and Kigali. Alternatively clients can fly from New York or Atlanta to Johannesburg with South African Airways and then take a connecting flight.
- Clients can fly into a regional hub - Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Kilimanjaro or Johannesburg and then connect to Entebbe and Kigali with different airlines including Kenya Airways, Ethopian Airways, Air Tanzania, Rwandair and South African Airways.
- Rwandair has regular connections between Kigali and Entebbe, Kigali and Nairobi and Kigali and Kilimanjaro (Near Arusha in Tanzania).
