Classic Uganda and Rwanda

A 4 day private safari which starts and finishes in Entebbe.

Kidepo National Park, in the north-east, is one of Uganda's most spectacular parks boasting zebra, elephant, eland, lesser kudu, dik-dik, buffalo, oribi and Apoka waterbuck. Separated from the rest of Uganda by the arid lands of the Karamoja region, its natural habitat ranges from rugged mountain scenery to lightly wooded savannah interspersed with patches of montane forest. Birdlife throughout the park is enchanting and includes ostrich and kori bustard. The pastoral Karamajong people, similar to the Masai, and the Ik, a dying hunter-gatherer tribe live nearby.

On safari clients stay 3 nights at the very basic Apoka Camp with minimal facilities.

Private charter flight to Kidepo. Lunch and game drive in the park in the evening. O/N: Apoka Rest Camp (FB).
