As Volcanoes Safaris continues to grow we are always keen to receive applications from suitably qualified staff to work in our offices in Kampala and Kigali, our lodges in Uganda and Rwanda and our office in London.
In the company as a whole we need experienced people with business, accounting and finance, management, commercial, hospitality, sales and marketing skills at a high level ideally related to travel or hospitality in Africa, either as employees who can work long term or consultants who can take on short term assignments in the areas mentioned. This can include people who are refocusing their careers or looking for a career break. These positions, depending on how they are structured, can be based in London or in Uganda and Rwanda or in their home country.
Sales and Marketing Manager - Kampala
This is a senior role with overall responsibility for the sales and marketing for the company. The role is based primarily in our head office in Kampala, Uganda but travel will be required both regionally and internationally. You will be expected to proactively budget, plan and implement strategies from a high level with an overall aim of increasing sales and revenue. You will have at least 5 years experience in a senior sales and marketing role within the tourism industry.

Office Manager - Kigali
We are currently recruiting for an Office Manager in our Kigali office, who will be responsible for organising and co-ordinating office operations and procedures in order to facilitate the smooth running of the office effectively and efficiently.

Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust
The Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust is a non-profit organization, which undertakes specific community and conservation activities in and around Volcanoes Lodges. The work of the VSPT fits in with Volcanoes Safaris’ vision for great ape ecotourism, linking tourism to conservation and local communities.
For the VSPT we invite applications from suitably qualified individuals in community work; conservation and eco-tourism. These positions are field based and can be structured as employees, consultants or interns depending on experience.

The elusive golden monkey (a relative of the Blue monkey) is considered endangered although their exact population is unknown. The Parc National des Volcans, located in Rwanda, is one of the best places to track and see these monkeys.
Seeing golden monkeys in the Virunga forest with Volcanoes Safaris is an incredible excursion as part of your luxury Rwandan safari itinerary. Habituating these monkeys was initially difficult but there are now two groups to visit, located not far from our Virunga Safari Lodge.
