Update on the Situation in Kigali, Rwanda 12 August 2010

There have been media reports relating to an incident in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda on Wednesday 12 August caused by a small-scale incendiary device where people are reported to have been injured.

The government is  investigating the incident, has reinforced security and reassured everyone that measures are in place to safeguard public safety. The city continues to work normally and travel continues normally with clients proceeding with safaris as planned. All areas of the country remain stable.
