Volcanoes Virunga Lodge has stunning panoramic views of the Virunga Volcanoes, Lake Ruhondo and Lake Bulera.  One of the best ways to arrive there, and to kick start your Rwanda gorilla safari is to take a helicopter transfer from Kigali airport.  The journey takes around 30 minutes and gives breathtaking views of the dramatic volcanic landscape.
