Celebrations in honour of Jane Goodall’s 90th birthday

Celebrations in honour of Jane Goodall’s 90th birthday were in full swing yesterday at the Kyambura Gorge Lodge. Augustine, VSPT Project Coordinator and Priscilla and Philbert from the lodge management team hosted James Byamukama and Peter Apell from the Jane Goodall Institute Uganda, alongside members from the local community to celebrate. 90 indigenous trees were planted in the Kyambura wetland in honour of Jane’s birthday and her inspiring work to protect chimpanzees.
