New Baby Gorilla Born to the Hirwa Mountain Gorilla Group

A new baby gorilla has been born to mother Umoja of the Hirwa mountain gorilla group in Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda. This is Umoja’s third birth in the group.
We are delighted to see the growth of the mountain gorilla population. Thank you to the Rwanda Development Board and the rangers for their continued conservation work to safeguard the mountain gorillas.
