Volcanoes Safari’s Cultural Partnership with Rwenzori Sculpture Foundation

As part of Volcanoes Safari's cultural partnership with the Rwenzori Sculpture Foundation, bronze sculptures from the foundry are displayed in the guest bandas at Kibale Lodge.

The award-winning bronze foundry, led by Emmanuel Basaza and Isaac Okwir, creates works inspired by Uganda's traditional clan totems, crafted by emerging Ugandan artists alongside renowned European sculptors.

Guests on safari at Kyambura Gorge Lodge and Kibale Lodge can visit the centre and learn about this unique and special project.
