World Ranger Day

Today, on World Ranger Day, we celebrate the unwavering commitment and dedication of rangers who tirelessly protect endangered gorillas, chimpanzees, and wildlife while preserving our fragile ecosystems. Each day, these rangers accompany guests on treks to see gorillas and chimpanzees, patrol forests and national parks and combat poaching and illegal wildlife trade. We are honored to work alongside the Uganda Wildlife Authority’s rangers in Queen Elizabeth National Park to monitor and protect the lion population. Thank you for your service, bravery, passion, and sacrifice.
